Alex Fotinos is an Associate in RAR Litigation’s Construction Group. With prior in-house legal experience for a major Canadian construction firm, Alex brings practical knowledge and real-world experience to a wide variety of construction-related matters, including liens, workmanship deficiencies, and payment disputes. In addition to appearances before the Divisional Court of Ontario and the Ontario Court of Appeal, Alex has advised on high-value mediations, cross-jurisdictional pre-trial settlements, and various corporate negotiations and commercial acquisitions.

Alex provides reliable, business-focused counsel to clients, ensuring their interests are protected both on the job site and in the courtroom. A former professional hockey player, Alex takes a team-first approach to resolving legal matters, collaborating with clients and colleagues to find solutions that keep projects on track and meet long-term strategic goals. Alex received his L.L.B from the University of Dundee, where he received the University of Dundee’s Global Excellence Award (2020), and is an active member of the Toronto legal community.
