He has advised top-tier global clients, including leading multinational companies and venture-backed businesses, on disputes, regulatory matters, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and high-profile transactions.

James graduated with the highest GPA in both of his majors before attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, earning the prestigious Board of Governors Medal. James continued receiving distinguished awards while at U of T Law, including the Stephen Tatrallyay Memorial Award for best construction law paper by a law student in Canada. Prior to joining RAR, James practiced in Toronto at one of Canada’s top national law firms.
