He has advised top-tier global clients, including leading multinational companies and venture-backed businesses, on disputes, regulatory matters, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and high-profile transactions.

James graduated with the highest GPA in both majors before attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. James continued receiving distinguished awards while at U of T Law, including the prestigious Stephen Tatrallyay Memorial Award for best construction law paper by a law student in Canada. Prior to joining RAR, James practiced in Toronto at one of Canada’s top national law firms.
