Rocco Ruso is the principal and founder of RAR Litigation and is recognized as one of the most effective litigators in construction law in Ontario. He applies unconventional thinking to intricate legal problems with a confidence gained from years of experience in construction law. Rocco’s dedicated and confident approach has allowed him to successfully litigate the full spectrum of construction and commercial matters. His proven legal acumen has made him a trusted advisor for his clients, even in non-litigation aspects of their businesses.
In addition to his construction litigation practice, Rocco has also established a strong commercial litigation practice with a focus in representing developers in real estate disputes.
He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Commercial List, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal, successfully representing some of the largest contractors and developers in the province. Types of disputes include surety bond claims, construction liens, breach of contract, trust claims, and delay claims.
